How to Book Me:

I do not accept walk-ins, but I am available in the evenings and on the weekends by appointment, if that’s what you prefer.

Discounts are occasionally available, but free consultations are NEVER available. You can haggle, however.

If you would like to haggle, please email me at aylward@aylwardfamilylaw.com with this info:

your full name and address;

whether there is a case pending in court;

whether you would consider phone/Skype appointments.

For instance, you could say something like this: “Scarlett O’Hara, just received complaint for divorce, can do Skype, want 50 bucks off.”

Do not give any other details of your case.

Driving Directions

From Matthews/Ballantine area

Take Providence Road, also known as Highway 16, northbound.
Cross South Wendover Road. Continue North. Watch for a bus stop on your right. Immediately after the bus stop, turn right under the “no turn before 9 A.M.” sign onto Scotland Avenue. Drive a minute. 1645 Scotland Avenue is on your right, behind a five feet block wall. The gates will be open. Pull in and park inside.
If you missed this badly marked turn onto Scotland, or when traveling before 9 A.M. (why?), turn right onto Colville Road. Take second right onto Scotland Avenue. 1645 Scotland Avenue will be on your left. It is a stucco building surrounded by a five foot wall. The compound has just a hint of Gothic grotesque.

From Uptown Charlotte/University area

Take East 3d Street southbound.  It will become Providence Road, also known as Highway 16.  Stay on Providence, leaving Presbyterian Hospital on your left.  Continue South on Providence.  Pass Harris Teeter on your left.  Providence Road will veer slightly to the left; stay with it.  Turn left on Colville Road.  Take second right onto Scotland Avenue.  1645 Scotland Avenue will be on your left.  It is a stucco building surrounded by a five foot wall.
